The short version

Veredly is a research tool for Amazon sellers. To do that we need your email (so you can sign in) and the ASINs and keywords you look up (so we can give you grades). We don't sell your data, we don't track you across the web, and we don't feed any of it into advertising. You can delete everything we have on you by emailinghello@veredly.com.

What we collect

  • Your email address. Required for sign-in. We use a magic-link flow, so we never store a password.
  • Your subscription details: plan tier, trial end date, status. The card itself stays at Stripe. We never see it.
  • The ASINs and keywords you research.Stored against your account so you can see your own history, and so we don't pay external APIs twice for the same query.
  • Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, timestamps. Used for security and to debug errors. Rotated every 30 days.
  • A session cookie. Keeps you signed in. No tracking pixels, no third-party advertising cookies.

What we never touch

  • Your Amazon seller account credentials, your inventory, or your sales data
  • Pages you visit outside amazon.com (the Chrome extension only activates on amazon.com)
  • The DOM, screenshots, or page contents of any Amazon page. The extension reads only the visible ASIN identifier.
  • Anything in tabs that aren't amazon.com
  • Your physical location beyond what an IP address implies (country level at most)

Why we collect what we do

Email is the only way to authenticate you and send you receipts. Lookup history lets you go back to your past work, and saves you money on repeated queries. Subscription details let us bill the right tier. Server logs are how we catch and fix bugs.

That's the list. We don't use any of this for advertising, profiling, or resale.

Third-party processors

We use the following vendors to deliver the service. Each one only sees the data it needs to do its job.

  • Supabase— stores your account, lookup history, and subscription record. Hosted in the United States.
  • Vercel— hosts the veredly.com website and runs the API. Sees IP addresses and request logs.
  • Stripe— processes your card and handles billing. We send Stripe your email and selected plan; we never see your card number.
  • Resend— delivers the magic-link sign-in email and any service announcements.
  • Cloudflare— provides DNS and edge protection. Sees the same IP/request data Vercel does.
  • Our data partners. When you research an ASIN or keyword, the query (no personal information attached) is sent to specialist providers for historical pricing, sales-rank, and live-marketplace signals, and to a large-language-model provider that turns those signals into the plain-English verdict. None of these providers receive your account email.

We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third party. The full vendor list and current data-processing agreements are available on request athello@veredly.com.

How long we keep your data

  • Account record: until you ask us to delete it
  • Lookup history: until you ask us to delete it — or delete individual lookups yourself any time from your History page
  • Server logs: 30 days, then automatically rotated
  • Billing records: 7 years (US tax retention requirement)

Your rights

You can ask us to show you everything we have on you, correct anything that's wrong, or delete it all. Emailhello@veredly.comand we'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the EU, UK, or California you have additional legal rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA). The same email handles those requests.

The Chrome extension

The Veredly Overlay extension sends one thing to veredly.com per product card it renders a grade for: the 10-character ASIN. That's it. The extension never reads your Amazon login cookies, your cart, your orders, the page DOM, or anything in a tab that isn't amazon.com. The content script is small enough to read in five minutes.

Children

Veredly is built for business users running an Amazon brand. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, we'll email everyone with an active account at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Cosmetic edits (typos, clearer wording) we just publish.
